Enhancing Child's Desire to Learn

Our approach to learning in the early years encourages learning that fosters natural curiosity of a young children and their relationship with the world around them. Our teachers are there to facilitate and shape that learning. We embrace children’s natural need and desire to learn, and their innate creativity in doing things their own way. At this stage we are focused on helping them learn to learn and love to learn instead of just acquiring knowledge of facts and skills. We are dedicated to providing a rich and diverse curriculum that allows children to exhibit their individuality through different forms of self-expression and group participation.

Language Development - It includes the basics of oral communication, speaking, listening, reading, comprehending simple texts, and writing skills. Students are exposed to Hindi and English through songs, stories and cultural learning experiences.

Numeracy - Children develop number skills by counting, solving number problems, measuring, sorting, comparing, creating patterns, adding and subtracting numbers. Educators support this learning through practical tasks, games, songs and rhymes to build their number sense. Children understand how mathematics can be applied in real life.

General Awareness - It is imperative to expose children to the actual world they live in. The learning situations and experiences help children to explore and connect with their natural and human made surroundings. Children develop their own insights into the functioning of several things or understanding human processes in their environment. Such interactions with their surrounding environment are immensely important in the healthy development of children. They enhance children’s learning capabilities by providing concrete learning experiences.

Art & Craft - Expressing through art encourages creativity and imagination. Children experiment with colours and give wings to their visualizations. Our students are independent thinkers and express fearlessly.

Fine Motor Skill Development - Fine motor skills involve the use of the smaller muscle of the hands. The activities which involve these small muscles help to develop eye hand co-ordination.

Gross Motor Skill Development - Physical activities help children to work on their large muscles. Playing on swings, doing yoga asanas, climbing up and down the stairs are certain activities which give them opportunities to build these muscles.

Socio- emotional development - In our rich, stimulating friendly environment children come together to progressively become more independent. They learn to be friendly, sharing and be kind to each other, building social skills.

Wonder Time - We believe that it's important to ask questions. All inventions are made when someone questions status quo. Fostering scientific thinking and allowing children to wonder about the small things around them through simple experiments is the objective of Wonder Time.

Music & Movement - Children learn faster through action songs and rhythms. This activity helps to develop their gross motor skills and phonic clarity.

Stage shows and Show & Tell - Here we try to build each child’s self-confidence. It helps in memory enhancement.

Story telling - emotional development - This is a play way method where interest in various subjects is awakened through stories. This helps in developing language skills along with active listening skills.
